This is what you need to know.  

 

Philosophy behind tutor methods: Socratic dialogue (students pose questions and discover the answers); encouragement; provide a presence as a role model, and review the expected outcomes of work. Tutors are encouraged to connect  with school math faculty whenever possible to support their efforts.

 

Tutor Commitment: In order for us to build relationships with students, we must be present. Tutor shifts run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. You can choose to work a full shift, or can break it up by working 3-5 or 5-7. We are grateful for whatever time you can offer. You can commit to one or more days a week, but it is important to be consistent.
